Although there was a problem with paying using PayPal I can’t attribute that to the store. The package arrived a day later than forecast but that wasn’t a problem for me. It was delivered by a very reliable courier, very well packed and everything ordered was in the box. Opening the box was a joy in itself, I reckon if you could bottle that smell I would buy it. I haven’t used any of the purchased spices etc yet so can’t comment on the quality but I can comment on the prices which, even taking the delivery costs into account, was around half that of the local supermarkets. The shop is so clean and lovely, with cute and helpful displays. They have THE BEST sushi rice and a great range of products including pickled daikon, seasoned seaweed in a jar, seaweed salad in the freezer, jars of pickles, curries, sweets, frozen octopus balls and a great selection of….. everything! The fresh fruit & vegies were obviously selected with care, and were exactly what I would have chosen for myself. The groceries were packed in recycled cardboard boxes, reducing plastic waste. I had a relatively big shop (for me), and rather than ferrying 20 bags from front door to kitchen, I only had to carry 3 boxes. Unpacking seemed faster, probably because once each box was opened I could clearly see all the items and unpack methodically. I called the store after delivery and spoke directly the lovely lady who selected and packed my groceries, and it was clear that she really does care about customer satisfaction.
