Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India. It involves a series of postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques that aim to promote physical and mental well-being. Today, yoga is practiced all over the world and has become a popular form of exercise and relaxation. There are many different styles of yoga, each with its own unique focus and approach. Some styles are more physically demanding, while others are more focused on relaxation and meditation.
A yoga studio is a space specifically designed for practicing yoga. It typically features an open, uncluttered area with mats, props, and other equipment available for use. Many studios also offer classes led by experienced instructors who guide students through various yoga poses and breathing exercises. Some studios may also offer additional services such as meditation classes, workshops, or private sessions. A yoga studio provides a peaceful and supportive environment for individuals to deepen their yoga practice and improve their overall health and well-being. Check out the list of the best yoga studios in Melbourne. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, these studios offer a range of classes and styles to suit your needs and preferences. Review on Yelp – “I’ve been waiting a while to write my review for Kaya as I wanted to make sure I had a few visits under my belt so I could give the most informed review.
To put it simply, I love this place. Kaya is unlike any other gym I have been to. For starters it doesn’t look like a gym, certainly doesn’t smell like a gym and it has a health resort feel.
Most importantly the staff are friendly and are trained professionals that are always available to assist you.
I have the full membership, this give me full access to the gym and have been making the most out of the Pilates classes. I can say that after 17 classes I definitely feel stronger and notice a difference in the way I look and feel. I am addicted.
I won’t go on and on but I want to highly recommend Kaya to anyone who lives in the area and is looking for a gym. You will not be disappointed.” – Kobie D

Review on Yelp – “After a busy day at work on my feet I booked in for a session of Yin Yoga at the Yoga Corner using my Bodypass. It was exactly what I needed!
You have to find the place first though so here are a few tips: it is opposite the RACV shop and on the left hand side of Bagel works…you need to go down the escalators and it is the first left with a yellow sign in the window.
Yoga corner focuses on hot yoga, hot basics, power vinyasa, yin yoga/meditation and even prenatal. There are heaps of different membership options and you don’t need to bring a mat as this is included along with corck blocks, straps and bolsters.
The facilities: there is 1 practice room, change rooms with showers, and the toilets are located outside of the shop. They lock the shop up during class so you don’t really need lockers.
The yin class was suitable for all levels of yogis and I’ll admit I nearly fell asleep due to the ommmm soundtrack and warm environment (25c). Instructor Ariana was very patient and helpful letting everyone be comfortable and safe while getting getting the most out of your practice.
Here you clean your own mat after class but our instructor let us all zone out for as long as we wanted after the class finished which was great!
Will be back to try another class soon.” – Feren Y

Review on Word of Mouth – “The teachers are patient, friendly and helpful. Iyengar yoga is least likely to cause injury due to use of props. The beginners class really starts at the beginning and each week you learn a bit more. There are a lot of classes to choose from each week. There is lots of space. The classes are reasonably priced. The location near Yarraville station is convenient. Approximate cost: $15″ – Vague
